Mediterranean Day – 28 November 2025
Open Call for Musical Events
Across the Euro-Mediterranean Region
The member states of the Barcelona Process, Union for the Mediterranean, have declared 28 November as Mediterranean Day, a day dedicated to celebrating our shared identity, cultural heritage, and the love that unites us with the Mediterranean.
On this occasion, the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) selects every year organizations from the 43 countries of the region to host simultaneous musical events within their local communities.
This initiative serves as a platform for connection and exchange of experiences, a way to amplify community voices and to promote the values of intercultural dialogue.
The ALF supports civil society organizations with financial assistance for the implementation of events and undertakes promotional actions at a regional level. At the same time, the initiative aims to build partnerships between civil society actors and local authorities, empowering them at the local level and giving them the opportunity to collaborate and coexist.
