The Mediterranean Capitals of Culture and Dialogue were created through the collaboration of young civil society representatives from more than 20 countries at the Forum des Mondes Méditerranéens (Marseille, 2022), and were supported by the member states of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership.
Alexandria and Tirana have been selected for 2025. In this framework, the ALF is launching an open call for cultural and intercultural activities in Alexandria (October–December 2025). Artists, intercultural actors, and organizations are invited to design and implement live, non-profit activities that highlight diversity, foster collaboration, and connect the community of Alexandria with culture.
The initiative strengthens social inclusion and intercultural dialogue through artistic and interactive actions in both public and indoor spaces of the city.
