Webinar on navigating the EU Funding & Tenders Portal and proposal preparation and submission

The Organization of European Programs and Cultural Relations (OEPCR), which manages the National Contact Points of the EU Programs “Creative Europe” and “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV),” and as the Head of the Cypriot Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation is organising an online seminar. The seminar will present the EU Funding & Tenders Portal and the process of developing and submitting proposals.

This online presentation is open to beneficiaries of the European Programs managed by the OEPCR, who intend to write and submit applications. These include Central and Local Government Authorities, Training Centers, State Agencies and Enterprises, Non-Profit Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, Associations, Civil Society Organizations, etc., operating in Cyprus and Greece.

The event will begin with a general presentation of the European programs “Creative Europe” and “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV),” followed by a navigation of the EU Funding & Tenders Portal, aiming to help beneficiaries familiarise themeselves with the process of preparing and submitting proposals, and to strengthen their skills. Special emphasis will be placed on the essential content and skills needed to write a successful grant application.

The seminar aims to offer beneficiaries:

• Information on funding opportunities under the “Creative Europe” and “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV)” programs,
• An overview of the Anna Lindh Foundation and the opportunities it provides to promote intercultural dialogue and foster cooperation across the Euro-Mediterranean region,
• Expertise in managing the EU Funding & Tenders Portal,
• Skills to monitor relevant Calls for Proposals,
• Knowledge about the tools offered by the Portal,
• Ability to search for and retrieve appropriate documents for drafting and submitting proposals,
• Interpretation of key terms and definitions included in Calls for Proposals,
• Familiarity with the proposal submission process through the portal and improvement of applicants’ skills in drafting and submitting proposals,
• Information on key required steps for partners during the submission phase, including the obligations of the lead partner and other partners,
• Capability to search for potential partners,
• Access to and analysis of successful past proposals.
