The non-governmental, non-profit organisation Cross Culture International Foundation Cyprus – CCIF Cyprus organises a training course focusing on language skills development. The seminar will provide the opportunity to participants to develop their language skills and be able to communicate and interact with confidence in English within a cultural context.

 The seminar, organised in the framework of the EU programme Erasmus+ Key Action1: Mobility | School Education, is open to teachers (primary and secondary education), youth workers, volunteers, and university students. The seminar includes hands-on workshops, seminars, project-based learning activities, field projects and visits to cultural sites. The seminar’s activities are based on a learning-by-doing principle.

The event is organised with the collaboration of the Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations (OEPCR). As the National Contact Point for the European Programmes “Creative Europe” and “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV)”, the organisation will present the objectives, main priorities and funding opportunities of the programmes “Creative Europe” and “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV)”.

The non-governmental organisation Cross Culture International Foundation CyprusCCIF Cyprus established in 2016, focuses on education and research in social innovation, green educational technologies, teaching methods, cultural heritage, and entrepreneurship. The organisation promotes inclusive, lifelong education for youth, adults, and seniors, particularly targeting vulnerable groups such as NEETs, refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants. CCIF Cyprus provides support to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, aiding their integration and autonomy through language, digital skills, and creative workshops. The organisation holds the ESC Quality Label, Erasmus+ Accreditation (in youth field), and it operated as the regional coordinator of the ICC program by the Council of Europe, helping design integration policies.

The Organisation of European Programmes and Cultural Relations (OEPCR), founded in 2020, aims to promote and disseminate contemporary Cypriot artistic creation and to contribute in every possible way to the European and international cultural network. The Organisation operates the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus, the National Contact Point for the “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV)” programme. At the same time, the main purposes of its establishment are the maximization of the absorption of European resources for the fields of culture from the programs of the European Union through the continuous support, training and empowerment of the artists and the bodies of the contemporary creation in Cyprus.
