Info session & Workshop: Rose Volunteering

On Friday 16 May , the non-governmental organisation Youth Dynamics organises the “Rose Volunteering” info session and workshop , aiming to help participants explore EU values while being engaged in the local community of Agros. In the framework of the event, the funding opportunities provided by the EU programmes “Creative Europe” and “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV)” will be presented.

In the first part of the event, the “Explore Europe” session will be held, which aims to help participants familiarise themselves with EU values like democracy, solidarity, understanding and tolerance. Following the workshop, an informative session will be held focusing on the funding opportunities offered by the Creative Europe and Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) EU programmes.

The event is organised in the framework of the youth exchange scheme of the Erasmus+ Key Action 1 and the European Solidarity Corps EU programmes, engaging 15 young people aged 18-30 from 12 European countries. The aim of the youth exchange is to enhance young people’s skills and knowledge and give them the opportunity to be engaged in the preparation and implementation of the Agros Rose Festival 2025.

The event will be attended, among others, by the volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps. The workshop is open to youth workers, students, unemployed people and generally to all young people aged 18-35 who wish to enrich their knowledge and connect with other European citizens.

The event is organized by Youth Dynamics in collaboration with the Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations which operates the CERV Cyprus National Contact Point and the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus.

Following the event, lunch will be served for free.
