Dot.on.the.Map Industry Days (5th edition)

The 5th edition of Dot.on.the.Map Industry Days will be held between 18 – 20 April 2024 in Cyprus, in the framework of the 22nd Cyprus Film Days International Festival (12 – 20 April 2024).

Dot.on.the.map Industry Days is a co-production, training and networking platform that brings producers, directors and scriptwriters from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, from across the three neighbouring continents of Cyprus, together with international film professionals. It provides an opportunity to filmmakers from these countries to present their new feature film projects and network with international industry professionals.

Dot.on.the.map Industry Days includes two (2) sections:

• The Meeting Point co-production forum
• Cinema Talks – a series of educational masterclasses, round tables and presentations by established industry professionals

The Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations/Creative Europe Desk Cyprus co-organises this event supporting filmmakers and audiovisual sector professionals, while promoting the funding opportunities provided by the Creative Europe EU programme.

This year, the Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations/Creative Europe Desk Cyprus organises, in collaboration with the Creative Europe Desks of Greece and Bulgaria an informative session on the Creative Europe MEDIA calls for proposals, focusing on the empowerment of the European film and audiovisual industries and the development and distribution of European works.

Through the presentation, which is open to all audiovisual sector professionals, the participants can learn about the funding opportunities EU provides for the development of audiovisual works across the film industry value chain on a European level, the encouragement of cooperation across the value chain, the development of talents and the facilitation of knowledge-sharing , the support of innovative solutions and the engagement of audience.

The informative session will be held on Saturday, 20 April 2024, 10:15 – 11:15 at the Rialto Theatre, Limassol. The presentation of the MEDIA calls will be held in English.
