Online Info Session on CERV DAPHNE 2025

The Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations (OEPCR), as the operator of the “Creative Europe Desk Cyprus”, the “CERV Cyprus National Contact Point” and as the Head of the Cypriot Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation, organises an online info session of the “Call for proposals to prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children” (CERV-2025-DAPHNE).

The online info session is open to beneficiaries of the European programmes represented by OEPCR, who intend to prepare and submit a proposal. The session is open to governmental authorities, governmental local and regional authorities, state organisations or companies, public organisations, civil society organisations, non-governmental and non-profit organisations, associations, academic and research institutions, whose work is relevant to the call’s topics, and which are based in Cyprus and Greece.
The first part of the session includes an introductory presentation of the EU Programme “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values” (CERV), followed by a presentation of the “Call for proposals to prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children” (CERV-2025-DAPHNE) which aims to finance projects for the prevention and combat of gender-based violence and violence against children
In the second part of the session, Mrs Pantelitsa Nikolaou, Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Coordinator of NIMA Centre for Psychological Support and Therapy at Cyprus Family Planning Association (CFPA) will present the CERV-funded project “Play Equal: Change begins with you (CERV-2021-DAPHNE)”, a project which is related to call’s priorities. Through the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about project management and implementation methods of EU-funded projects.
Cyprus Family Planning Association (CFPA) is one of the oldest and most firmly established Non-profit, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Cyprus, with a rich and ongoing contribution to society, health, education, and human rights since its inception in 1971. CFPA is an Accredited member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) European Network, with active involvement in several national and European networks and bodies. The Association defends, protects, and advocates for the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of all: women, men, and young people, and exercises a leading role in SRHR, through the work of it’s committed, competent and skilled volunteers and staff.
The workshop aims to:
- help applicants in getting a deeper understanding of the call’s priorities and objectives;
- strengthen applicants’ skills to approach the call more effectively, enhancing the competitiveness of their applications;
- assist applicants in understanding the evaluation process to improve their proposal’s success chances;
- provide applicants with information on effective project management and implementation methods;
- give applicants the opportunity to expand their network.
