The Limassol International Book Fair returns for its 3rd edition, opening its doors to the public on 22-24 November at the Lanitis Carob Mills Complex in Limassol. The Book Fair is a leading cultural initiative focused on Books and Letters.
Recognizing the value of dialogue and the exchange of ideas, the 3rd Limassol International Book Fair will commence its activities on November 22 with an all-day professional conference, featuring dozens of book industry professionals from Cyprus and abroad.
On November 23 and 24, the General Exhibition will follow, which will be open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to discover new and classic book titles from over 100 exhibitors while enjoying a full program of activities, discussions, interviews, and presentations on four stages. More than 120 renowned authors and speakers from Greece, Cyprus, other European countries, Russia, and the Middle East will take the stage in over 100 events, catering to adults, children, and teenagers.
At Limassol International Book Fair Conference 2024, a unique professional event for the book industry organized in Cyprus, publishers, booksellers, authors, librarians and book professionals from around Cyprus, together with book professionals from Greece, Europe and the Arab world, will meet again to discuss local, regional and international challenges and opportunities.
The Conference’s extended progamme includes talks, Q&As, panel discussions and the first B2B Space, a dedicated space for professional meetings at the Book Fair grounds as well as, Networking Meetings @ B2B Space, offering a chance to visitors to sit down and discuss in an informal context with the Fair’s invited book professionals at a dedicated time slot.
The Conference is co-organised with the Cyprus Association of Librarians – Information Scientists (CALIS), the University of Nicosia Library and the Organisation for European Programme and Cultural Relations/Creative Europe Desk Cyprus.
In the framework of co-organising the Fair, the Planning and Development Coordinator of the Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations and Head of the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus will give a speech titled “Current EU funding calls for publishes, writers and translators”. Following the speech, he will participate in a panel discussion titled “Translation of Greek and Arabic literature: intercultural exchange and opportunities for growth” along with other distinguished panelists from Cyprus, Greece and other countries.
In addition, the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus co-organises another panel discussion titled “Women in the book industry: Impact and empowerment”.

In the framework of the B2B Space meetings, which will be held on Saturday 22 November, 10:00 – 14:00, the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus will be available for discussions and consultations with interested parties at the Ceronia Hall on the following topic:
