This year, 30 projects from 24 European countries have been recognised for their outstanding contribution to the protection and promotion of Europe’s cultural heritage.
The awards span across five categories:
- Conservation & Adaptive Reuse – giving heritage new life
- Research – pioneering knowledge that protects and informs
- Education, Training & Skills – transferring traditional and emerging skills
- Citizens’ Engagement & Awareness-raising – bringing communities and culture together
- Heritage Champions – honouring individuals and organisations leading the way
Cyprus among the winners!
The Old Municipal Market of Nicosia (AGORA) received an award in the Conservation & Adaptive Reuse category, for its exemplary transformation into a centre for innovation and civic exchange that is open and accessible to all communities of the city.
