CERV National Contact Points meeting

The Organisation for European Programmes & Cultural Relations, operating the CERV Cyprus National Contact Point, participated in the “CERV National Contact Points Meeting” which took place on 20-21 May 2025 at Hilton Brussels Grand Place Hotel in Brussels.
The meeting’s working panels took place with the participation of representatives of all CERV National Contact Points and officials from the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers (DG JUST) and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission.
The meeting included presentations, panel discussions and networking sessions focusing on the:
- progress of the CERV programme implementation
- lessons learned & future challenges
- role of NCPs in the promotion of CERV
- ways to strengthen collaboration between the European Commission and NCPs
A panel with DG Justice and Consumers’ representatives discussed the new European Commission and CERV policy priorities, highlighting the importance of safeguarding gender equality and fundamental rights across EU.
