On 15 April 2025, the Anna Lindh Foundation Cyprus Network held its General Assembly at the Cultural Centre of Strovolos in Nicosia. The event brought together members from across Cyprus for a day of dialogue, collaboration, and strategic planning.
The programme began with opening remarks and key updates on the Foundation’s ongoing work and priorities. Members then reviewed and approved revised internal rules, followed by the election of a new Steering Committee.
Participants took part in three panel discussions focused on good practices in education and coexistence, youth engagement and participation, and social cohesion and inclusion. These sessions provided valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and the sharing of local and regional experiences.
The day also included presentations on upcoming opportunities within the Anna Lindh Foundation, as well as useful information on European Union funding programmes such as Creative Europe, the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme, and the New European Bauhaus.
The assembly concluded with a networking reception, giving members the chance to connect informally and strengthen collaboration within the network.
