The 4th Limassol International Book Fair & Conference 2025 is a dynamic platform for publishers, booksellers, authors, librarians, and other book professionals from Cyprus, Greece, Europe, and the Arab world. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the ever-changing trends in the book industry while addressing both regional and international challenges and opportunities.

The general fair will host publishers, booksellers, authors, academics, state entities, embassies, municipalities, cultural institutions, book lovers, and artists from Cyprus and abroad. Within this framework, the Organization for European Programmes & Cultural Relations, managing the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus (CED CY) as a strategic partner of the fair, will provide information on funding opportunities through European programs for cross-border collaborations, translation grants, and mobility grants in areas such as literature, music, visual arts, architecture, design, and cultural heritage.

Specifically, on Saturday, 22 November, from 12:00 to 14:00 at the B2B Space (Stage 5), CED CY representatives will be available for one-on-one meetings with potential stakeholders interested in European funding opportunities in the book sector.

Earlier that day, from 11:00 to 12:00, a roundtable discussion titled “Cyprus as a Hub for Culture and Investment: From the Eastern Mediterranean to Europe” will take place, featuring Marios Tannousis (Invest Cyprus), Ahmed Rashad (Al Dar Al Masriah Al Lubnaniah, IPA), and Lina Chebaro (Arab Scientific Publishers, Thaqafa), moderated by Nenad Bogdanovic. The discussion will focus on opportunities for collaboration between the Cypriot and Arab publishing sectors.

Additionally, on Sunday, 23 November, from 14:00 to 15:00 at Stage 5 of the General Fair, CED CY will coordinate a discussion titled “The Importance of the EUPL Prize”, featuring European Union Prize for Literature winners Aimilios Solomou and Lydija Dimkovska. The session aims to highlight the impact of the European Union Prize for Literature on authors’ careers, the recognition of translators, and the international dissemination of their works.
