The ALF Secretariat is proud to present its consolidated contribution to the New Pact for the Mediterranean, entitled: “Putting the People-to-People and the Cultural Dimension at the Heart of Euro-Mediterranean Relations.”
The ALF position paper offers practical recommendations on mobility, youth, and culture, strengthening the engagement of civil society and young people in Euro-Mediterranean policy discussions. Through the ALF4ThePact initiative, inclusive spaces for dialogue were created, translating insights from across the region into actionable outcomes for the future of Euro-Mediterranean relations.
The New Pact for the Mediterranean, officially announced by the European Commission on 16 October 2025, aims to enhance cooperation and economic ties among Mediterranean countries and to build a Common Mediterranean Space that is connected, prosperous, resilient, and secure.
