Open International Call from Liepāja 2027 – European Capital of Culture!

The Liepāja 2027 Foundation has announced an open international competition for the co-financing of artistic and cultural project proposals. The total available budget is €640,000.

Location: Liepāja, South Kurzeme, and Kuldīga (Latvia)
Application Deadline: September 10, 2025, at 11:00 (Latvia & Cyprus time / EEST)

Who Can Apply:
Independent artists, creative collectives, organizations, and cultural professionals from across Europe are invited to submit their proposals.

• Phantom of the Library – Literature and oral art
• Island of Adventure – Environment and digital experience

Priority Will Be Given to Projects That Emphasize:
