4th Larnaca International Poetry Festival

The Larnaca International Poetry Festival is organised for the fourth consecutive year by the cultural organization Culture& Art EleTrion LTD. The Festival is held under the auspices of the Embassy of Greece in Cyprus, supported by the Municipality of Larnaca and the University of Western Macedonia. The Deputy Ministry of Culture (Department of Contemporary Culture) is the main sponsor, and the event is carried out in collaboration with the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute, the Organization for European Programs and Cultural Relations (OEPCR), and various other institutions.

With the participation of 35 distinguished poets from Cyprus, Greece, and various countries worldwide, the Festival highlights the global dimension of poetry and its role as a bridge of communication and culture.

Taking place from April 24 to April 27, 2025, the event promises to bring together poets, artists, and creators from Cyprus and abroad, fostering a connection between traditional and contemporary poetic expression. The Festival’s rich program includes poetry readings, discussions, academic presentations, poetry tributes, creative writing workshops, musical performances, as well as choreographed and musicalized poetry, creating a unique atmosphere where poetry meets other forms of art.

As part of the Festival, the Organization of European Programs and Cultural Relations (EPCR), which manages the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus, will feature a presentation titled “EU Funding Opportunities for the Cultural Sector.” The presentation will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Municipal Theater “G. Lykourgos” in Larnaca.
