Online info session: Funding opportunities under the Call for Proposals “European Remembrance” (CERV-2024-CITIZENS-REM)

The Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations (OEPCR), which operates the “Creative Europe Desk Cyprus” and the “CERV Cyprus National Contact Point” organises an online info session on the Call for Proposals “European Remembrance” (CERV-2024-CITIZENS-REM).

The online info session is open to beneficiaries of the European programmes represented by OEPCR, who intend to submit a proposal. The session is open to governmental authorities, governmental local and regional authorities, state organisations or companies, civil society organisations, non-governmental and non-profit organisations, associations, museums and archives or academic institutions whose work is relevant to the call’s topic and which are based in Cyprus and Greece.
The first part of the session includes an introductory presentation of the EU Programme “Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values” (CERV) and it will be followed by a presentation on the call and its priorities, which focuses on commemorating defining events in modern European history as well as raising awareness among European citizens of their common history, culture, cultural heritage, and values.
In the second part of the session, Dr Eleni Kouki, Historian, Researcher at the Jewish Museum of Greece and Project coordinator of the HerStories project on behalf of the Jewish Museum of Greece, will present the ongoing European project “HerStories – Telling Jewish women’s stories (CERV-2022-CITIZENS-REM)”, whose content is related to the topic of European remembrance.
Through the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about specific project management and implementation methods of EU funded projects.
The workshop aims to:
- help applicants in getting a deeper understanding of the call’s priorities and objectives;
- strengthen applicants’ skills to approach the call more effectively, enhancing the competitiveness of their applications;
- assist applicants in understanding the evaluation process to improve their proposal’s success chances;
- provide applicants with information on effective project management and implementation methods;
- give applicants the opportunity to expand their network.
