The Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations is pleased to announce a special webinar series, targeted at the local music professionals!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The webinar, entitled \u201cPathways to the new Music Landscape\u201d is part of the Organization\u2019s \u201cMusic Ecosystem\u201d training series, and includes online meetings with French digital media expert Yvan Boudillet of Utopia Music. The first two web events will be held on Thursday 16 June and Tuesday 28 June from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. respectively (all webinars will be conducted in English).<\/p>\n

Participation in the webinar is free, by prior registration HERE.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Organized by the Centre of Music Research, Innovation and International Networking and hosted by the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus, the webinar will include three meetings in total, covering the following topics:<\/p>\n

SESSION 1: NAVIGATING THE MUSIC ECOSYSTEM<\/strong>
\nAn overview of the moving music value chain and the key fundamentals to have in sight when running a music project in a digitalized and data-driven environment.<\/p>\n

When: Thursday, June 16th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

\nWhere: ZOOM platform<\/p>\n

SESSION 2: EXPERIENCE SHARING – PROJECTS FEEDBACK<\/strong>
\nParticipants (3 to 5 project holders) from Session 1 will be invited to share their current challenges and\/or best practices so they can receive feedback from the rest of the group.<\/p>\n

The case studies will be reserved for 3\u20135 of the selected established projects the participants are currently working on. Project selection will take place during the webinar on June 16th.<\/p>\n

SESSION 3: MEETUP<\/strong>
\nNetworking event during local music event allowing for participants to connect and follow-up with the wider group on the takeaways from the previous Sessions.

Yvan Boudillet, Head of Policy at Utopia Music<\/strong><\/p>\n

A creative industry expert with 18+ years of experience at the intersection of Music & Technology, Yvan Boudillet leads public policy at Utopia Music as well as their education efforts in relationship with the great variety of stakeholders across the music value chain.<\/p>\n

Utopia aims to level up the Music Industry through clear, transparent, and reliable data-based solutions towards the mission to achieve \u2018fair pay for every play\u2019 globally. Prior to joining Utopia, Boudillet founded advisory company TheLynk, where he contributed to innovation efforts in the music ecosystem by enabling dialogue, experimentation and collaboration between Music organizations or institutions, artists and startups.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
